Hi, I'm just curious as to whether or not cPanel can be installed inside of WAMP because I love the features and all the functionality but I don't want to use someone elses web hosting and use their restricted bandwidth and all so if it is installable or integrateable with WAMP then I will definitely in the short near future be buying it.

If by WAMP you mean Windows/Apache/MySQL/PHP then no. cPanel/WHM for Linux and FreeBSD is specially designed for Linux and FreeBSD.

However, we are working on a product for Microsoft Windows Server 2008. For more information about the upcoming product for that platform, please visit http://www.cPanel.net/windows

    when WAMP ?

    David

    When is WAMP due?
I fear this is an almost ready thing...

@ the cPanel conference this year - having MS there was nice...
but everyone made it sound like it was going to be out then... and it wasn't... and then ... made it sound like it would be out right after the conference... and... it wasn't

Is there a time line on this ?
some of us really want this... and want to plan on moving out of the cruddy plesk environment...
so ... please forgive us for being anxious

This product will be using IIS 7, not Apache so it technically isn't "WAMP." Please refer to http://www.cPanel.net/windows for more information.

    no timeline... ?

    David ...

Thanks but... no time line shown here.

In short - i dont want to keep buying the plesk licenses if I dont need to.

I purchased 5 today since there is no time line...

    A hint would be great...

    :)

I know your working it - the pm's told me many @ this point think its vaporware... That I disagree with...

but... a timeline would be great.

    :)
