I'm trying to install cPanel and it seems to keep "freezing" at this point:

    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/RELEASE/scripts/.cpanelsync.bz2....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.151
    34%...69%...100%......Done
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanel...PanelRPM.pm.bz2....41%...82%...100%......Done
Got file ./cPanelRPM.pm ok (md5 matches)
    Done

Logging in with another session shows the following processes running:

    root 8147 0.0 0.0 4216 1132 pts/2 S 13:17 0:00 sh latest
    root 8199 0.0 0.0 4212 1036 pts/2 S 13:17 0:00 /bin/sh ./bootstrap
    root 8236 0.0 0.1 6432 2828 pts/2 S 13:17 0:00 cPanel master install - rsync
    root 8301 0.0 0.1 6432 2828 pts/2 S 13:18 0:00 cPanel slave install - checkrpms/debs/etc
    root 8302 0.0 0.0 3316 1464 pts/2 S 13:18 0:00 /usr/bin/perl ./checkrpms
    root 8303 0.0 0.0 3332 1424 pts/2 S 13:18 0:00 /usr/bin/perl /scripts/safeup2date --nox -i wget
    root 8307 0.0 0.3 11980 7176 pts/2 S 13:18 0:00 /usr/bin/python -u /usr/sbin/up2date --nox -i wget

Does anyone have any ideas what's going on?

    Go on, have a guess
I take it you're installing onto an RHE server? If so, is it registered with RHN for up2date? That is, if you type in:

    up2date -l

    Does it work?
