    too bad.

one of ev1's servers or switches has your ip on their block list.

this has been my problem, too, during upcp and after coordinating with tom boutell and with our dc, the problem was found on that one server hop right before going to boutell.com's box.

we asked ev1 to remove the block but we never got any reply from them. :(

    solution

This is the solution that worked for me:

Create an account boutell for domain buotell.com locally within WHM.
Upload http://www.boutell.com/gd/http/gd-2.0.0.tar.gz (download it to your own computer first) to /home/boutell/www/gd/http/ within Cpanel's File Manager.
Put the line "nameserver 127.0.0.1" as first line in /etc/resolv.conf (pico /etc/resolv.conf)
    Run /scripts/cleangd
Delete the line "nameserver 127.0.0.1" from /etc/resolv.conf

yes, whou would have thought that using 127.0.0.1 as primary ns could also solve problems? :))
