    Hi,

    On a server with JUST CENT OS 5.6, does cPanel install PHP, MySQL and Apache?

    If so, do I have the option to pick out what version of PHP?

    Thanks,

    Hello :)

    Yes, the cPanel installer includes the installation of Apache, PHP, and MySQL. This occurs through an EasyApache build. You can also run EasyApache manually after the installation to choose which versions to use:

    # /scripts/easyapache

    OR;

    "WHM >> Software >> EasyApache (Apache Update)"

    Thank you.

    Thanks, couple more questions:

    There are 4 IPs associated with my server, A main one (shared), one that is deicated and 2 for DNS purposes.

    Does the cPanel License need to be associated with the MAIN IP? or can it be any of the 4? If so, could I get an additional IP just for cPanel?

    If I don't have to use the MAIN IP, on the other hand, how will cPanel know that the other IPs are linked to my server if they are not added through cPanel?

    cPanel licenses are IP-based, but only for the IP address that your server makes outbound connections from. You can run the following command in order to determine which IP address should be licensed:

    Code:
    # lynx -dump http://www.cpanel.net/showip.cgi
    Thank you.
