Quick Question,
Should we add (check Mark) this cpbackup_transport_history.log cpbackup_transporter.log
are there any negatives if we do, it is not check marked and wonder if its best to check mark this to logrotate as well ?

also cpgreylistd.log
or any log that shows up unchecked ?

thanks for your reply in advance

@cPRex Also one more question on one server I do not have logrotate and on another server it has logrotate in the list to check mark?

why would this have logrotate in one servers list and not the other servers list ?
same systems:
Operating System AlmaLinux v8.6.0
Product cPanel & WHM v104.0.4 (STANDARD)

example
✅ access_log (in rotation)
✅ api_tokens_log (in rotation)
✅ build_locale_databases_log (in rotation)
✅ cpbackup_transport_history.log
✅ cpdavd_error_log (in rotation)
✅ cpdavd_session_log (in rotation)
✅ cphulkd.log (in rotation)
✅ cphulkd_errors.log (in rotation)
✅ cpwrapd_log (in rotation)
✅ dnsadmin_log (in rotation)
✅ error_log (in rotation)
✅ incoming_http_requests.log (in rotation)
✅ license_log (in rotation)
✅ login_log (in rotation)
logrotate not check marked
✅ queueprocd.log (in rotation)
✅ safeapacherestart_log (in rotation)
✅ secpol_log (in rotation)
✅ session_log (in rotation)
✅ spamd_error_log (in rotation)
✅ splitlogs_log (in rotation)
✅ stats_log (in rotation)
✅ tailwatchd_log (in rotation)

Hey hey! If the file is getting large, there's no reason you couldn't add it to logrotate.

One of my personal machines is using AlmaLInus 8.6 and I do see logrotate installed there. Can you run this command to see if the package exists?

Code:
rpm -qa | grep logrotate
We'd be looking for this output:

Code:
logrotate-3.14.0-4.el8.x86_64

both machines show the same but only one shows in that area with a check mark available
[[email protected] ~]# rpm -qa | grep logrotate
logrotate-3.14.0-4.el8.x86_64
[[email protected] ~]#

I've been looking into this for a bit and I can't find anything on why this behavior would be happening. Could you make a ticket so we can do some additional research?
