    Hi

A user deleted an important email account on his account (through cpanel) and his boss wants to know the IP address from it was deleted.

I hope cpanel keeps a log of all email creation, deletion type acitivies in some log file. Can you please point me to that file?

This will also help me keep a tab on the new email account creation activity by various users. I want to be alerted to situations where people create and delete accounts within a short period.

    TIA.

    Arun

You should find it in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/access_log

It does have the access logs but there is no mention of email account creation or deletion activities there.

    Creation : POST /frontend/x3/mail/doaddpop.html
    Deletion : GET /frontend/x3/mail/dodelpop.html
then (after confirmation) : GET /frontend/x3/mail/realdelpop.html
