I've noticed a difference in using Safari to connect to cPanel.
If you try to login to a cPanel account using Safari and you get the popup authentication then cancel it, expecting to get the login form (cookie based), nothing comes back.
Try this with Firefox and IE and the cPanel login HTML form shows and you can the login.
I'm confused by this, does anyone have any ideas why cancelling the popup authentication is different in Safari?
This has a wider reaching impact since Safari uses the webkit backbone that is used in other embedded browser solutions.
