Cpanel-Mail storage

    hello,
    I am just curios to know where are the email accounts that i create from the Cpanel gets stored , is there any database or some other logic , Please clear my doubt.

    They are located in the /mail/ directory under the account's /home/ directory.

    For example:

    If you have a domain mydomain.com and the account's username is "mydomain" then all mail accounts would be in:

    /home/mydomain/mail/mydomain.com/<user1>
    /home/mydomain/mail/mydomain.com/<user2>
    /home/mydomain/mail/mydomain.com/...


    Not sure, but these paths may vary based on OS and "home" mount point.
