Cpanel mailing list or an announcements thread?

I think it would be a good idea to create a announcements mailing list or create a thread in here that everyone can subscribe to. This would be good if there is something that has to spread quickly.

For example, that backup script that would delete /home/* dirs when the path was set incorrectly. This way, if there was any important news, it could be channeled effectively.
