Where is the path of my host? For example, if I try going to host.diggsnet.com, where are those files on my VPS? I already made an account called diggsnet.com and know how to access the public_html and all that, what I'm trying to figure out is where the main host page is residing on my VPS?

Thanks

It does not exist.
host.diggsnet.com is the hostname of your server, there is no such an account in your server.

Thanks, I see that there but where does the physical files reside on the server itself. The path? I'm just curious.
Thanks.

Doesn't it say "This template file will be saved as /var/cpanel/webtemplates/root/english/default.tmpl" in that page?

Howdy All,

You can find the path through the httpd.conf located at /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

The entry will look like this:

<VirtualHost *>
ServerName vps.domain.com
DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache/htdocs
ServerAdmin [email protected]
<IfModule mod_suphp.c>
suPHP_UserGroup nobody nobody
</IfModule>
</VirtualHost>

With that said, you're probably looking for the files in: /usr/local/apache/htdocs

I hope this helps. Thanks!

Thanks. I like to know where files and folders are. More out of curiosity then anything. I'm old school command line, but I love WHM. I could never go back to editing text files all day. And I know there are still guys out there that refuse to use a portal or front end to manage a server, huh?

Thanks again guys.
