    I keep getting call undefined function eaccelerator_encode

    I recompiled latest eaccelerator and i still have this problem
    Code:
    ./configure --with-eaccelerator-shared-memory --with-eaccelerator-content-caching --with-php-config=/usr/local/bin/php-config
    Using php i was able wich functions were available:
    Code:
    print_r (get_extension_funcs( 'eaccelerator' ));
    and i got
    Code:
    Array
    (
        [0] => eaccelerator_caching
        [1] => eaccelerator_clear
        [2] => eaccelerator_clean
        [3] => eaccelerator_info
        [4] => eaccelerator_purge
        [5] => eaccelerator_cached_scripts
        [6] => eaccelerator_removed_scripts
        [7] => eaccelerator_check_mtime
        [8] => eaccelerator_optimizer
    )

    Anyone has a fix for this to activate eaccelerator_encode ? I spent nearly 3 hours recompiling and looking on google, and i haven't found anything.

    Hi hip_hop_x,

    At the risk of sounding foolish, you are running PHP 4?

    I've not used eaccelerator personally so my experience is lacking.

    That said, it appears that encoder is an option that is on by default (and your example is correct). However if we look at eAccelerator's CompileConfiguration page and the "disable encoder" flag, they say that despite it's inclusion/exclusion, encoder is only PHP4?

    Just looking at the obvious first,
    -DavidN
