I read this at another forum and found that my server exhibits the same behavior, maybe someone here has a clue about this?

For those who are too lazy to click on the link, basically it's asking if Cpanel ever updates files in /usr/bin for any reason. The list of example files given are:

    /usr/bin/passwd
    /usr/bin/crontab
    /usr/bin/quota

This is because these files are date stamped later than the Cpanel install date (also true in my case).

Could a Cpanel update or some other Cpanel activity have caused this?
