Seems my Cpanel has a bug or two concerning MySQL.

When I log into WHM and click on \"Set MySQL Password\"
and then set it, it causes the users CPanel to say

    -----------------
ERROR 1045: Access denied for user: \'root@localhost\'
    (Using password: YES) 0
    -----------------

It says this on any page that has to do with MySQL and
    in PHPMyAdmin it says

    ------------------
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for
user: \'root@localhost\' (Using password: YES) in
    /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/lib.inc.php
    on line 226
    Error
    ------------------

What seems to be happening, is WHM is creating the new
.my.cnf file in the / directory while Cpanel is
looking for it in the /root dir. If I cp the .my.cnf
file from /.my.cnf to /root.my.cnf the main cpanel
pages having to do with MySQl no longer have that
error. But that does not fix PHPMyAdmin. I am unable
to get phpmyadmin to work and it keeps giving me that
    error.

    Please help.

    Thank You

Nevermind, we got it. Looks like WHM isn\'t updating the PHPMyAdmin config file.
