    Hello,

On a cPanel server, running RHEL 4 I got the following error (from cpanel logs) while associating an user with a DB from the cPanel admin:

In fact, from cPanel interface all privileges are added OK, but the MySQL itself is not connecting at all due to this error.

    Any ideas?

    I already tried:

    Thanks!

This is normal output when using a user's MySQL page in cPanel while logged in as root or the reseller.

    Kenneth,

I'm getting the same thing, only the error_log shows a line (such as the OP posted) for each user on the server. It's only happened once, this morning, on April 16th, at 1:55am. I have no resellers, and I wasn't logged into anything but sleep at the time.

There should have been no changes to MySQL as I have:
Updating MySQL Server...Updates for mysql are disabled because /etc/mysqlupdisable exists.
