I have been asked by the design team to collect input regarding the quality of the translations we bundle with cPanel/WHM. As you may know, since version 11 we have begun bundling language files with cPanel/WHM to allow you to change the language of the cPanel interface fairly easily.
We want to confirm the translations meet the high quality standards typical of our software. As our staff does not speak languages such as Bengali, Chinese, French and German, we need to rely on your input to let us know how we are doing. If you are familiar with these languages, please let us know your thoughts regarding the quality of the translations.
I will relay pertinent feedback to our design team so they can take appropriate action to improve the quality of the bundled translations. We are primarily focusing on the quality of the translations bundled with cPanel/WHM, not the user-supplied translations available at http://lang.cPanel.net
Please note, this thread is about the quality of the translations themselves - not the underlying language framework. We intend to significantly improve the underlying framework in version 12 (no ETA). Discussion about how and why this will be done will take place during a presentation by one of our developers at this year's cPanel Conference. For more information about the 2008 cPanel Conference, please visit: http://conference.cpanel.net
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with valuable input.
