So I am somewhat of a newbie,

I have been working with cpanel for years but in limited capacity (IE godaddy hosting accts etc)

So recently I have been moving to my own server for web hosting. That being said this is where I become the newbie...

So I got cpanel and whm installed on centos 7.8. I have 4 static Ip addresses that are associated with this server one per nic.

so here are the problems I have arising at the moment.

modem firewall, router firewall, and server all have had their firewalls disabled.

I seldomly can access the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2087 from another computer on the same network.

I keep getting comm error when trying to add iP addresses within cpanel.

I cannot submit a ticket from the server

Cpanel staff cannot access via ssh

Can anyone here provide some guidance on what is causing this assumed network error.

Additionally I have gotten emails about these multiple times

The service “ipaliases” appears to be down.

Hello @etherealim

Is Network Manager enabled on your server? Network Manager is known to cause networking issues and is not supported by cPanel. We provide instructions on the following page for disabling the service:

https://docs.cpanel.net/knowledge-b...dministration/how-to-disable-network-manager/

I saw that you noted a "DNS resolver failure" as well. What DNS resolvers are you using? You can review the existing resolver configuration in WHM:

https://docs.cpanel.net/whm/networking-setup/resolver-configuration/

Best regards
