Hello, I'm thinking about offering webhosting service to my existing customers.

I have 2 VMware servers, each holding 400GB hdd and 4GB of ram.

cPanel1 I would want to use as primary dns and webspace for websites.

cpanel2 I would want to use as secondary dns and mailserver with pop3/imap/webmail.

What I want to know is this, is it possible to do the commands on only cpanel1? Or do I have to create the user on cpanel1 with his domain/webspace and also create the same user manually on cpanel2 for his secondary dns and e-mails?

I think you will have to do server clustering to archive your target. I am not much familiar with clustering. I am not sure about emails but you can do DNS clustering with cPanel.

At this time, we do not natively support failover clustering (with exception of our DNS clustering capabilities). You could probably set up a secondary MX to point to the second cPanel/WHM server, but you would still need to somehow synchronize the users (removing deleted users, adding new mail users etc).
