cPanel News questions for resellers

I am the server owner with root access to server

If I check "cpanel news modification" from the reseller's ACL, can that reseller overwrite the news that root account created? and will the news posted by the reseller will be seen by other resellers and customers in the server?

If you (as root user) go to WHM > cPanel >> Modify cPanel/WHM News you see several options:

Global cPanel News (displayed in all cPanels [including resellers' customer]):

Global WHM News (displayed in all resellers' WHMs):

Resold Customer News (displayed in all resold customers' cPanels [resellers' customers]):

cPanel News (displayed in all of your customers cPanels):

But, if you (as the reseller) go to WHM > cPanel >> Modify cPanel/WHM News you see only one option:

cPanel News (displayed in all of your customers cPanels):


So the answer to your question would be no, I believe.

The easiest thing to do might be to actually test it yourself to be sure. ;)
