    I have same situation last night

    1 ) Create

    Code:
    # mkdir -p /usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/2/$user/$domain/

    (referrer to Changes Contained within a VirtualHost Directive for more data)

    2 ) create and add this directives to a anyname.conf
    Code:
    # echo '
    Alias /webstat /var/www/vhosts/$user/tmp/webalizer
    <Directory /var/www/vhosts/$user/tmp/webalizer>
        <IfModule mod_suphp.c>
            suPHP_UserGroup user group
        </IfModule>
    </Directory>
    '> "/usr/local/apache/conf/userdata/std/2/$user/$domain/awstat_publico.conf"
    3 ) check if cpanel accept the new config

    Code:
    root@server:~#/scripts/verify_vhost_includes|grep $user
    root@server:~# /scripts/ensure_vhost_includes --user=$user

    4) restart apache
    Code:
    root@server:~# service httpd restart
