I have a strange issue and not sure where to post to get some feedback. So I have a shared hosting client who is has a domain name which is valid and registered and correctly pointed to his new shared hosting account with me. The domain has a .ca extension

Now he is going into his Cpanel and clicking addon domain name since this will be a addon domain not the primary domain. and upon adding the domain name and choosing a password etc he gets an error stating

"Error from park wrapper: Sorry, cannot determine nameserver IPs. Please make sure that the domain is registered with a valid domain registrar"

I am using:
CentOS with the cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

The strange issue is although he gets the error message the ftp account and directory seems to be created within his www directory ??

Any suggestions?

You could try setting to "On" the setting in WHM > Tweak Settings > Allow unregistered domains which would bypass checking the domain. If you wanted to submit a ticket for us to see why this registered domain isn't properly being detected in case it might be an issue with .ca domains, please certainly feel free to open a ticket at WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature.
