    Hi,
I just installed cPanel on a box (like I have done many times) and I can not access the box via port 80 or 2086. I am waiting on hold with the data center. Can it be a cPanel issue or is it more likely the firewall on their end ?

    Thanks.

    /D

Did you try port 2087 as well? Most likely its a firewall issue or apache config.

Did you try connecting directly to the port from your local computer ?

    telnet 123.123.123.123 80

You can also see what ports are in service if you can install nmap.

    /usr/sbin/nmap localhost
