    I didn't have this problem before and it just started tonight. Whenever any of my resellers or myself create an account, the permissions of that account aren't created so that nobody can access the public_html directory and the base directory of the user is created with permissions of 700 and not 711. So after the account is created the web server can't access the pages and throws a fit. Any way of fixing this or should i submit a bug report?

    Hello,

    Did you try the script /scripts/enablefileprotect?. If not try it now. Also check your /scripts/wwwacct file and check the following line.
    ------------------------------------
    mkdir($uhomedir,0711);
    -------------------------------------
    Let me know the status ;)

    I'm having the exact same problem after last night's upgrade (now at WHM 10.6.0 CPanel 10.6.0-R125).

    Fixed by going to /home and doing:

    chmod 711 acctname

    changing acctname to the relevant account name.

    Same thing here. Any new account is set at 700 after update to R125.

    Also, the email usage is still wrong in manage email accounts for over two weeks after converting to maildir.

    Bug reported on this two weeks ago , still no response.

    New builds are coming out now with the fix. If you run /scripts/enablefileproctect, then it will correct any home directory permissions problems.

    R218 is fine on FREEBSD for permissions...However, the /root/cpanel3-skel is no longer placing the index file in the new users /public_html directory. The index.html file does exist
    in /root/cpanel3-skel/public_html

    Also, when the new accounts are created, double emails come in for new account created and one (as it should) when the account is terminated

    Released build 212 to correct this (likewise it shouldn't cause a problem, just waste a few bytes of disk space).

    It is happening on all our FREEBSD servers;

    Removing Shell Access (n)
    Copying skel files from /root/cpanel3-skel/ to /home/user/
    Using Quota v1 Support
    Added Entries to httpd.conf
    Bind reconfiguring on quick2 using rndc
    Added Named File
    Restarting apache
    Ftp Password Files synced
    Notifcation => hostmaster@domain.com via EMAIL [level => 3]
    wwwacct creation finished

    Account Creation Complete!!!

    Double entries in httpd.conf and the cpanel3-skel is no longer writing to /public_html

    I would Nick, but R218 is the most recent. How do we get R212?
