If disable all email related services in WHM will I still receive important notifications from WHM/cPanel? For example update failures or security notifications?

I am using my servers only for hosting sites (who use external services for sending email). So I am considering disabling the Exim Mail Server, IMAP Server, Mailmal and POP3 Server services in WHM.

From what I understand from the thread linked below it's okay. But I want to be sure if don't miss any important server notifications.
    Safe to disable email services?

    Hello,

You can disable those services if you have no intention of using the cPanel server for any type of email activity. However, you'd need to setup an alternative method of receiving the notifications (e.g. AIM, HipChat, ICQ) in "WHM >> Contact Manager":

Contact Manager - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

    Thank you.
