    Hi,

I am looking to install Debian on a Sun V210 and run cPanel no it. Have any of you had luck / problems running cPanel on Debian/SPARC? Anything I should keep my eyes open for?

    SPARC Platform

I've checked that list and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a distribution for SPARC systems listed. Am I out of luck on this one?

cPanel/WHM simply will not work on a Debian-based distribution at this time. I recommend using a supported distribution and platform:

I just don't think that cPanel will work on SPARC. You could always install FreeBSD/sparc64 (Tier II architecture), grab a demo license and see if it'll install... but I doubt that it'll work.

    Voltar,

Thanks for the idea, I think that that's the only thing I can do :) I was hoping that I could stay away from FreeBSD because I am more familiar with Windows / Linux than with FreeBSD but I guess it's time to learn!

Again, thanks all for your quick responses! I'm downloading the ISO file now :)

We do not support the SPARC architecture. We only support x86 and x86-64 ( AMD64 to the FreeBSDers).

OK, that's not the answer I was hoping for but I have to honor it :)

Wow, I didn't realize cPanel has dropped all support for Fedora and SUSE new releases.

    Can't blame you ...
