I'm a total newbie at this so please be gentle.

I've installed CPanel\WHM using 'wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest' and then 'sh latest' on top of a fresh install of SUSE Enterprise 10.
I can login to WHM over port 2086 without a problem. But I can't login to CPanel over 2082. I get the login box but neither the root user nor another local user I created can get in. Do I need to enable CPanel somehow?

One thing I've discovered is that since installing CPanel I can no longer go into User Management in Yast. It errors telling me that it 'Cannot read user or group data'. Is this right? Does CPanel take over user management somehow?

Again, apologies for any obvious mistakes.

Ta in advance
Mark

open the 2082 and 2086 ports on your MODEM. Allow Access.

It's not a port blocking thing as I have even the problem when using the web browser on the server itself.

When you say "SuSE 10.0" you mean the version tree that is now called "OpenSuSE" or you are talking about the commercial boxed "SuSE 10.0" product?

Is there any plans to support newer versions of SuSE???
