We just changed the theme that one of our packages uses, and when it updated it overwrote all of the quotas on accounts that are using that package.

Is there any way to tell cpanel NOT to overwrite the quota when you make a simple change to a package?

Create another package for custom upgrades is what I do. If I have 10 accounts using a package called Basic, and one of them has special needs, I create a new account similarly named as the one I'm moving them from so it can be found later easy enough, like Basic.plus for example.

If I edit that one later, the Basic package with 9 others on it, stays intact of course.

Not sure how helpful that is, but there you go. ;)
