    Hello!
I have recently uploaded my new pages with .php and changed the .htaccess to .html and .htm but still I am unable to visit or preview my website which is now in php. Can anybody suggest what to do to visit and preview my .php website as normal html website. Thanks

    Hi,

Whenever I have recently created an account on my VPS and whenever I visit the url the website doesn't load and automatically starts downloading a file called "download". It doesn't matter what file extension it is it just downloads.

I have set all the correct apache handlers and have even tried adding the following to my .htaccess

    Code:
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
I have EasyApache installed on my server. Could that be the reason?

    Thanks in advance,
    Cameron

    Hello :)

Do you notice this behavior on all accounts, or just this particular one?

Try accessing the file directly over the command line to see if you notice any difference. EX:

    Code:
    # php /path/to/file.php
    Thank you.
