We have CentOS and WHM 11 install on our server.

There is one website on the server. That website domain name is not yet resolving to the server yet, so I am trying to login to the cpanel for the website with the server ip
But after giving the correct username and password , we are not able to login to the cpanel for that website.

It seems to be very simple issue but I also don't understand what is going on wrong. I reset the cpanel password to abcd1234 to that website, but still it is not let me login to the cpanel for that website.

So please tell me the solution for this issue .

    waiting for the reply.

I assume you're able to access WHM (http://IP:2086 or https://IP:2087) via the IP address?

A common issue is that there is that there is no cPanel account for that domain yet on the server. You created a cPanel account on the server for that domain, correct? You can do this in WHM -> Account Functions -> Create a New Account. You cannot login to the cPanel interface with your root login credentials (but you can do this with the WHM interface).

If there is an account on the server, you should be able to login as that user via the server's IP address as you mentioned.
