Cpanel Pro - Addon Issue - Never Installed

Hey All,

With our last two ./upcp (s) we have noticed that a shadowed version of Cpanel pro installs within (WHM) our clients account. Keep in mind that it is not an Add-on that we have ever installed.

When we test our client accounts a few items do not correctly work as we expected as it has not been installed correctly.

The only way we have found to overcome this issue is to install Cpanel pro and then un-install to have it fully removed.

Within our feature manager the settings are correct, and are not set to give clients these options, but they are provided to the client regardless untill we take the step above.

Just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem of late.

Yes you are right and this Pro (RC1) is very annoying ...

Thanks. Installing then uninstalling Cpanel Pro seemed to remove the new additional cpanel items in my client's accounts. (ie. Leech Protection, Boxtrapper, Stats Configuration, etc)

I looked around the different threads, and never could find an adequate or clear explanation of why those extra features were installing with the recent upcp runs.

Anyone have an idea why this happened, and if cpanel is doing anything to prevent it from future updates?
