cpanel problems with Chrome browser

The IE and Firefox browsers allow entering a SSL exception, but Chrome won't. That causes problems...

When I use Chrome to access cpanel via https://mydomain.com:2083 or even http://mydomain.com:2083, it always pops up a bad certificate security warning:

The site's security certificate is not trusted!
You attempted to reach mydomain.com, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.
Proceed anyway Back to safety
Help me understand

After I click off that nag screen, Chrome also then fails to offer to remember my login username & password, so I must enter those manually each time too. That's a royal PITA because I access cpanel fairly often.

Does anyone here know a way to get around these problems with Chrome and cpanel?

Some countries like Iran have problem with other SSL -like cPanel cert-, except by itself and in these countries you should just set browser on "I know the risk", because they think it could be hacker or bad-ware. For pass this on Chrome you click on "Processed any way" button.

We don't seem to be on the same wavelength. :( I am not in Iran, and have absolutely no interest in Iran's problems. I'm in the USA. And there is no "I know the risk" setting in Chrome.

Please can someone more knowledgable about Chrome and cpanel reply...?
