    All,

Anyone having problems after using the cpanel reboot feature?

exim, mysql, apache, webmail showing down and actually down.

Every time I use the reboot feature nothing comes back up, than I have to seek tech support. SSH and FTP is ok though.

    Any idea?

    Or a bug?

    Regards,

    Joe

the few times that I have rebooted from inside the WHM, those do stay red (kinda lags behind) but then go green after a min or so...if all else fails just click on the restart services link for each one after the reboot from inside your control center

I rebooted once on a VPS it never came back up. Had to call tech support. Don't remember if SSH was up. Tech support said the reboot feature was not reliable.

If you can SSH how do you start everything?

Yeah, I remember seeing it red for awhile and usually the service comes back later, though it is already available.

But some unknown reason every domains was dead.. can't get to it at all.

Everything seem to be running though in SSH, I did a reboot via SSH and all process seem to have started but still no domains. This is so damn weird, NOC tech support says the ip works fine.

So I logged on via the IP to whm and deleted one of my domain that is idle anyway and recreated it to see if it works.

Bounced the DNS bind again and it works.. every other domain works.. how stuffed is that.. geeezus.. after all that.
