The chkservd process attempts to connect to “127.0.0.1:80” in order to validate that this service is functioning. If you blocked connections with iptables or the “Host Access Control” interface in WHM, this failure may be a false positive.
To resolve this issue, either open the firewall to allow connections as the root user to “127.0.0.1:80” or disable checks for this service in WHM’s “Service Manager” interface with the “Configure Monitor Settings” link below.
Configure Monitor Settings:
https://host.mysite.com:2087/scripts/srvmng#service-chkservd
Configure chkservd:
https://host.mysite.com:2087/scripts2/tweaksettings?find=chkservd
Disable HTML notifications:
https://host.mysite.com:2087/scripts2/tweaksettings?find=chkservd_plaintext_notify

This notice was generated “Tuesday, January 19, 2016 4:06:52 PM UTC”.
“Service failures (ChkServd)” notifications are currently configured to have an importance of “High”. You can change the importance or disable this type of notification in WHM’s Contact Manager at: https://host.mysite.com:2087/scripts2/editcontact?event=chkservd

Hello :)

Could you verify if Apache is actually failing before it's detected as down, or if Chkservd is incorrectly marking it as a "failed" service? You can review /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log to look for any specific reasons for a failure before the automatic restarts occurs. Please also review your firewall rules to see if local connections over port 80 are blocked for any reason.

Thank you.
