Will Apache 2.x.x work on a Cpanel server running RHEL 4?

If so, is there an option somewhere in WHM that allows for an upgrade to Apache 2?

Also, is it true that FP extensions will not work with Apache 2?

    Thanks

Support for Apache 2 is in the cPanel 11 stage 2 roll out. You can find a schedule for that at http://cpanel.net/cpanel11

RHEL/CentOS 4 is one of the tested platforms.

I know initially we weren't planning on FP support in Apache 2; however I believe the developers are re-evaluating that decision as I now see an option to compile in FrontPage support into Apache 2 on EasyApache 3.

Not saying it will be in there for sure, just that support for it is being re-evaluated.

Thanks for the update. I look forward to Apache 2 as I have heard that it handles mod_security more efficiently. Don't know if that is true, but would be nice if it is.

    Thanks again.
