    Hi Guys n Gals

I know cPanel used to have this feature and I can see why it "went away" is there any chance it will be comig back soon. We think this is a great selling point and would love to know if its coming back or not?

At this time there are no plans to resurrect the Search Engine Submission tool. This has largely to do with the fact that websites are spidered nowadays without the necessity of submitting to any search engines - making such functionality rather moot.

i feel that this tool should still be in there.

Why? Your right. Websites are spidered, HOWEVER, the spider doesnt know your websites there until its linked or submitted.

Modern search engines will detect links to your website from other websites. As long as someone out there is linking to you, there's essentially no need to submit a website.

Hmm - yes this is trye David, however, Not everybody knows about Search Engines and how they work - I mean we have a sitebuilder aimed at people that want a website and want to go, however, the search engine feature is potentially good for customers that dont know what the heck they are doing - click the button - submit to 5 major search engines - presto - done. It could be something we can charge for as most people here in the UK do.

    Regards

I was going to suggest that ya'll open a feature request via bugzilla but it appears someone has already done that:
