Since upgrading from 58.0.25 to 58.0.26, the cPanel Security Advisor is taking much longer to complete.

It used to run for 40 to 60 second, it is now taking up to six minutes. Not a huge problem, but it does encourage navigation away from the manager, and then going back and starting a second/third security scan process.

Hello,

I've been unable to reproduce this issue on a test system, as it completes in roughly 30 seconds:

Code:
Start Time: Wed Sep 07 2016 14:18:46 GMT-0400 (EDT)
Finish Time: Wed Sep 07 2016 14:19:09 GMT-0400 (EDT)
Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can review the affected system and determine what's causing the extended scan time?

Thank you.

Nothing in red other than the usual SSH password and root logins which we have locked down to our own static IP's (and to you guys o_O ) with both host access control and firewall rules.

I am now getting run times of around 17 - 20 seconds which is what I would expect.

I looked for duplicate processes (none) and redundant binaries (none) at the time I was seeing the processes taking unusually long to complete and I couldn't see anything that would cause it. Server load at the time was down at 0.06 0.07 0.02 (Dedicated server, Intel Xeon E3-1240v3, 3.40GHz, 8 Logical Cores, 8GB Ram) and no process was using unusually high memory.

I guess it will remain a mystery for the moment. If I see it happening again and can pin it down to something, I shall let you know.
