cPanel Slow Login Time

Hello,
I have seen that other user's have had this issue before, but didnt see an exact solution that fixed it for me. My server is running the latest cPanel install and takes some time to login on either panel/WHM. The server is located not far from my location and gets 100 Mbps + on speedtest along with low pings. I am just confused why it takes long to login (5 - 15 second area), other servers I have had worked flawlessly with cPanel.

Hello,

Have you tried running a traceroute from your location to the server's IP address to see if the connection speed is slower at a particular location? Are there any special firewall rules enabled on this server?

There is nothing that I can see is wrong in the traceroute, I did a 100 pings and saw about 3% in packet loss. This is just a regular cPanel server, I haven't edited anything else. I can see now after logging in that the load is above 1 (weird as I only have a couple of development sites on here), is there anything to be worried about when whostmrg top is using 42% of cpu? My host said they are looking into the packet loss issue and I should hear back from them soon. Thank you

I don't see anything that would indicate an issue with cPanel/WHM based on the information you have provided. Let us know if you see any improvement after the packet loss issue is addressed.

packet loss fixed is helping a little bit, still see high cpu usage from whostmgr2 - top ./top after logging in. (40% area then slowly decreasing). I have a feeling that is just taking up extra cpu from my login process. I have 4 cpus clocked at 2.3 GHz not sure why that process is so intensive.
