It was reading September yesterday and prior to that it was showing 14 Aug 2007.. Now it's due for tomorrow??

Is this actually the case??

Could this be the second stage being prepared? I wouldn’t like to comment as I have never really worked out how the version numbers work! So it’s just a stab in the dark!

We are shooting for tomm for both 11.x to STABLE and Stage 2 to CURRENT.

This is still tenative and isn't a 100% guaranteed release date. There is still last minute testing going on. The official release will depend on the outcome of our testing and the power situation at the office as stated in http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=69780

Must be damn exciting over there at the cpanel tower right now with all this going on. :p

Correction has been made.

Stage 2 will NOT be going into CURRENT tomm. Sorry to get your hopes up.

Keep an eye on the posted release dates on the site for more information. However, STABLE is still scheduled for release tomm.

Sorry about the confusion. A backup was restored due to power troubles that had old dates. The correct information has been restored to the site.

Until of course it is delayed. If you guys actually make the release date for Stable tomorrow, I will be surprised.

I highly doubt we will have Stage two by September 12th. I can see another inevitable delay on Stage 2 Current.

Will we ever get it ?

It has to be at least 6 months now since cpanel staff hinted it was about to be released on the forums, I'm sure I recall dates in Feb/March mentioned? I heard a rumour they are are planning to have the Apache 2 on STABLE in line with the release of Apache 4.3
