Are you bored of the red and green status icons that cPanel / WHM comes with standard?Does the thought of a bright red icon scare your web hosting reseller customers? Want to make the icons a lot "cooler", and show your web hosting customers (resellers) that you are a "cool" web hosting provider? Well keep reading on to update cPanel / Web Host Manager status icons!!

If you are logged into WHM, close the browser and exit.
Do not logon to WHM until you have finished this entire how-to.
(Or else you may think it did not work.)

    1. Login via SSH as root.

    2. Type: cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/

    3. Type: rm -f green-status.gif

    4. Type: rm -f red-status.gif

    5. Type: wget

    6. Type: wget

    7. Type: cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/

    8. Type: rm -f green-status.gif

    9. Type: rm -f red-status.gif

    10. Type: wget

    11. Type: wget

    12. Login to WHM and click "Service Status"

    13. Check out your new icons :) (Red wont show unless something is wrong of course)
