My users are seeing the following when connecting to cpanel:

Sorry for the inconvenience!
The filesystem mounted at / on this server is running out of disk space. cPanel operation has been temporarily suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files not in use on that partition.

I have removed a large amount of data from this server, and currently the partition is at 63% of capacity, and yet we still see the above.

How do we reset this? Is there an option somewhere to set the threshold at which this error is generated?

Thanks./

I think you may need to check the disk space on the partition where cpanel is installed also check teh sapce of /var and /tmp many times it is also creating issues.

Lastly, try running fixquota on the server and have try..login to WHM

Verify inode consumption as well with df -i
