Hi Friends

I have a server with CentOS, CPanel and WHM on The Planet.

My question is if have a possibility to install CPanel on my home PC to test modifications before use them on my Server?

I tried to install Cpanel on CentOS here im my PC but i need a validation on my IP.

Thanks

JB

Cpanel would require a public IP to validate your Cpanel license. if your IP at home is dynamic, you may get a license invalid issue if you reconnect your internet connection

Ok, but i have a server with valid cpanel license on The Planet Datacenter.

My question is if have a possibility to install CPanel on my test linux server in home. For tests purposes only.

Thanks for your reply

I need this too but cPanel only provides test accounts for 15 days and you must have a static ip for your test license.

If there is a test version (for ex. only working for 1 domain etc.), this will be very good for us. Now we have to try everything on our production servers or we have to purchase another license.

Go on, have a guess
As you've discovered, you have to have a separate license for each and every installation of cPanel - no exceptions. If you want to test out cPanel, you can get a 15 day test license.
