cPanel to cPanel migration

    HI,

    I have a shared hositng account on cPanel with MySQL DB from one hosting provider & i want to migrate to other hosting provider who is also offering cPanel

    i want to know how can i do a simple backup & restore between two cPanels, i also have a small customized CMS application on this website

    I am not ownere of any of ther server but have cPanel control panel for bothe servers

    You could do a Full Website Backup from here:

    cPanel > Files section > Backups > Download or Generate a Full Website Backup

    There are options there to send to a remote server via FTP that might be helpful. Once its there contact your host and ask them to move it from the account where you sent it to, to where it needs to be placed for restore and have it restored there on the new server.

    Get them the Full Backup, they'll know what to do with it. They should anyway. ;)
