Cpanel Transferred Account / Email issues

I have successfuly transferred an account using CPanel, and WHM restore. In addition I have now switched to the new DNS server names... I'm having an issue with email accounts

1. The site comes up now on the new server just fine.
2. The email server (mail.domain.com) appears to be pointing to the old server (gives me an error "cannot find an owner for that domain (domain.com)

Issue is I have deleted the old account on the old server. (so I know the mail is still pointed to the old DNS location)

How do I fix this? ANy suggestions?

Hello,

I would like to suggest you to set DNS Zone for your domain. Change MX record &
Name Server details point to new server.

Sounds like it may simply be a propagation issue. Check the IP it's resolving too on each DNS server and ensure it's the same as the IP in the httpd.conf file.
