    Hello,
Every day when the cpanel's upcp runs, I get a mail
    with the log saying

    I ran
    Code:
     awk '$4=="E"' /var/cpanel/updatelogs/update.latest.log
    and it says
What is the error with check_perms? And how could I solve this?
    Regards,
    Vijai

    Vijai,

It may be the problem with your mailman permissions and it has not finished.

Use following command to auto check all mailman permission.
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/check_perms

or use a command to fix mailman issue

    /scripts/fixmailman

The issue is resolved. The Customer representative removed mailman using
    Code:
    rpm -e --nodeps cpanel-mailman

and then installed mailman again using
    Code:
    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix --targets=mailman

    Hello,

Do you know if the /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py file on your system was manually modified in the past, or if any Mailman configuration changes in general were made on the affected system?

    Thank you.
