cPanel update Bind issue this morning, is there a fix?

This morning I was awaken by phone calls telling me my server was down. When I contacted my data center they told me that cPanel pushed an update out this morning that is missing a certain bind command, and they had me perform the following to fix it:

up2date -fi bind-libs

service named restart

And that worked, but my question is this - can someone tell me what I would need to do to prevent this from happening again?

I have two servers, both running their own DNS/nameservers, but this only happened on one of them and I'm not sure why.

I have seen this on six servers already tonight. I don't understand how the nightly upcp has this issue when it was reported several days ago.

I am about to turn auto upcp off until this is resolved.

Ah that would explain it!, we done a reinstall of bind to fix it. Over 2000 sites down.
