I manage some servers with CPanel. After the recent automatic update in March, all my servers show the same configuration errors.
- IPV6 has been re-activated and now the CSF shows the error: "IPv6 appears to be enabled [ifconfig: fe8..."
- SMTP_BLOCK option is not working
- I'm receiving dozens of alerts: "lfd on host.xxx.xxx: Excessive resource usage: rpc (5073)"
Note I have ipv6 deactivated inside /etc/modprobe.conf :
alias ipv6 off
alias net-pf-10 off
- also inside /etc/sysconfig/network:
NETWORKING_IPV6=no
alias ipv6 off
however, I reboot the servers but the ipv6 error appears again and again, and the SMTP_BLOCK is not working.
Please, tell me where are the damages of your recent updates. I'm having the same problem in 3 servers.
Until today all them worked without problems during the last 2 years.
It seems the recent update rewrote the config files in a wild and clumsy way. Please, give me some explanations and some way to solve these problems.
thanks
