Cpanel update messed httpd.conf

    new cpanel update "current version" has messed my httpd.conf file after update file size was 0 bytes all sites were down for almost 4 hours :( , we were able restore site using old conf file backup, any one faced same ? is it safe to use old conf file on new version ? if no how to recreate it ?

    is it safe to use old config file or not ?

    I'm not sure why an update would have wiped your httpd.conf, if I was you I'd put in a ticket to cPanel and ask.

    Have you tried:

    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

    Backup the original first of course.

    yes i tried that command result is same 0 byte, i am raising ticket now :(
