cPanel update on 11.34.1 (build 7) stuck on oopscheck

I am running the update feature in cpanel and everything looked to be going fine but the progress bar has been stuck at 48% for half an hour now. I am guessing it is stuck or failing at some point but am unsure.

The process it is running is:

[maintenance] Running sanity checks and notifications : /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/oopscheck

Is it safe to refresh the page or is it a revert to snapshot affair?

I would not refresh the page. You might check your root users email address for an email from the system.
