Running Cpanel on Centos 5.2, everything is going well now :) but I wanted to do a backup to an external USB drive. I went to format/mount a new hard drive and it does not show the device. In fact it shows my second array drive as an option to mount/format sdb... yikes. That might be because I am using the built in raid function on this supermicro board that is not a real hardware raid. I digress though, any way to help cpanel see the USB drive? It is definitely there and recognized by centos as sdc:

dmesg | grep -i "SCSI device"
SCSI device sda: 1465149168 512-byte hdwr sectors (750156 MB)
SCSI device sda: drive cache: write back
SCSI device sda: 1465149168 512-byte hdwr sectors (750156 MB)
SCSI device sda: drive cache: write back
SCSI device sdb: 1465149168 512-byte hdwr sectors (750156 MB)
SCSI device sdb: drive cache: write back
SCSI device sdb: 1465149168 512-byte hdwr sectors (750156 MB)
SCSI device sdb: drive cache: write back
SCSI device sdc: 1953525168 512-byte hdwr sectors (1000205 MB)
SCSI device sdc: 1953525168 512-byte hdwr sectors (1000205 MB)

    Thanks again for any input.

    Cheers,
    TR

sdc is the usb drive, it does not show up on the add drive/format list though.

    Cheers,

You might be better off doing it from the command line using fdisk.
