    Hi,

When I log in to FTP or SSH with one of my cpanel users I can access the server root directory.
Shouldn't a cpanel account only be able to access /home/[account]?

    I'm running WHM 58.0 (build 31).

    Hello,

This is standard when accessing an account via SFTP or SSH with jailed shell access enabled due to the nature of how the filesystem works on Linux. Note that while you may be able to view some directories outside of /home, account-specific data should be restricted.

    Thank you.
