    Hello,

I have one issue. When my Reseller clients creates cpanel account from their whm control panel then cpanel user name creates very log, i mean it takes all characters upto domain name extension. Suppose domain is : abcdfeghigklmnopqrstuvwxyz.com then user name creates abcdfeghigklmnopqrstuvwxyz. It should be only first eight characters of domain anme :abcdfegh. Where is setting in whm for this. So that when reseller client will create cpanel account then cpanel user name will create with only first 8 characters of domain name.

    Thanks,

    Hello :)

Usernames are allowed 16 characters or less. Thus, the username that's automatically populated will have 16 characters if the domain name also contains that many characters. The first eight characters must be unique on the system to prevent issues with database prefixing and account transfers. The username must contain only letters and numbers. The username cannot start with a number or the string test.

    Thank you.
